Protectcorp respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you interact with us online, by phone, in person or via our services.

- From third parties such as recruitment agencies, referees, government authorities, credit-reporting bodies and publicly available sources

- To provide, price and manage security services you request
- To verify identity, licences and right-to-work for employment or contractor engagement
- To manage client relationships, issue invoices and process payments
- To monitor Sites under our care (CCTV, access-control logs, patrol verification)
- To investigate incidents, uphold safety and comply with legal obligations
- To improve our services, websites and customer experience
- To send service notifications, newsletters or marketing where permitted
4. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose personal information:
- To service providers – IT support, payroll, insurers, legal advisors, auditors, subcontractors and training bodies who assist us to operate;

Protectcorp does not sell or rent personal information to third-party marketers.
5. Overseas Disclosure
Protectcorp endeavours to store personal information in Australia. Where we must use cloud platforms or service providers located overseas (e.g., secure data-centre hosting or software support) we will:
- take reasonable steps to ensure the foreign recipient handles the information in a manner consistent with the APPs; or
- obtain your consent to the overseas disclosure.
6. Data Security
- Physical security controls at our offices and vaulting facilities
- Multi-factor authentication for systems containing personal data
- Encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive electronic records
- Regular penetration testing, patching and access-review audits
- Retention and destruction policies aligned with legal and contractual requirements
Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but we take all reasonable steps to minimise risk.
7. Access & Correction
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you or ask for corrections if you believe it is inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Requests should be directed in writing (see Section 10). We will respond within a reasonable period and may charge a reasonable administrative fee.
8. Direct Marketing & Opt-Out
We may send you information about our services or industry news that we believe may interest you. You can opt out at any time by:
- clicking the “unsubscribe” link in an email;
- replying “STOP” to an SMS; or
- contacting us as set out below.
